How other's setup a Unit
The following
is a simple setup typically used in seasonal trailer
parks mainly to
act as a rodent deterent. This is not a proper way to
create a weather proof
barrier from water, sleet, snow, cold, wind and it
provides no structural value
whereas our setup mechanically connects the Home to the
Pad.
Foundation
Material - Your Unit is only as Strong as it Foundation
Some of the
other foundation material seen in the industry
include a gravel base, cottage slabs and even
Asphalt. None of these are a true foundation and
will result in unit shift and/or seperation. These
types of subgrades might be suffucient when the
unit is a on a single chasis and there is single
truss span, but when you have two sections structurally
attached together (walls, floor and roof) they
cannot float independently as they will seperate.
Thus the need for an Engineered Concrete Foundation.
